TAU is pleased to confirm it now has two level 2 electric vehicle chargers available to electric vehicle users during TAU’s office hours Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm. 

The chargers are compatible with most types of electric vehicles and deliver a fast charge of 100kms in 2 hours depending on the vehicle.

Electricity used to charge a car is added to your electricity account, so they are a simple way of charging up.

To use one of TAU’s EV chargers:

– Plan your visit during TAU’s office hours, 8am-4pm Monday to Friday

– Park your car at one of the charging points outside the office

– Come inside to see our friendly team, give them your Te Aponga Uira account number and they will arrange for your charging to be billed onto your regular account

– Plug in and charge up.
