Te Aponga Uira (TAU) works tirelessly to supply reliable electricity to Rarotonga throughout the year, and this includes during the festive season, with staff working to generate electricity, and on call to see to any faults. TAU’s team is also responsible for the festive coloured lights around the island.
“We want our customers to enjoy a break during the festive season and to be assured our team are on standby to respond to any faults that may occur. We also encourage our customers to know what to do in case of a cyclone during this season, so we ask them to note their customer connection number and keep our fault line number handy,” said Lesley Katoa, TAU Chief Executive Officer.
“I want to wish all of our Customers a blessed, relaxing, and happy Christmas. I hope everyone has some time to enjoy the festive spirit, please avoid our power poles when driving and admiring the coloured lights our team make happen every year.”
